Orginally founded as the Royal Houses way to merely create and advance technology for the overall wellbeing of the city. Yet, they took to heart their role often pushing ahead of what culture was ready for or pushing the limits on what was socially acceptable. Not only did they thrive in the development of technology, but sciences also. Over time they took upon their shoulders the roll of maintaining the city's buildings, pipes, and electrical grid.
